| Welcome to the web site for Byron First United Methodist Church. We are a congregation that celebrates our rich heritage, which dates back to 1836, when Brother Andrew Jackson preached here as part of the Shiawassee Mission Circuit, even as we confidently move into the future God has in store for us. We are a multi-generational congregation that believes that God's love extends to everyone; we are a church full of imperfect people who are united by God's perfect love. We strive to live out our Christian calling by being a center for meaningful worship, inspiring Christian education, and faithful service, both locally and globally. If you are looking for a new church home, I'd invite you to join us - our Sunday morning worship begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by informal time of coffee, friendship and conversation.
